you pray for your child's bowel movements.
I know I know gross. But Isabel hasn't been feeling well and has been constipated. Which of course is painful for a small girl. So last night I caught myself praying for her bowel movements. It took everything that I had not to laugh through the rest of the prayer.

so true! not gross either. i was telling an expectant first time mother that if she wasn't fascinated with poop now, she was going to be when the baby came. Buck thinks i'm sick because I always check the diaper to see what it looked like but I need to know if it was hard or soft or what so I can force more water or fiber or whatever.
